PLEASE HELP!
Hi... I have been fostering for the last 5 years and I also do TNR in my neighborhood. I LOVE cats! I am also a mentor for a small group of boys in my neighborhood,I have been for many years now. I have fallen on hard times as the last year has been rough me. My mother passed away suddenly from a heart attack,and only 3 months later my grandmother passed away from cancer. Then my son was wrongfully accused and arrested and held at a juvenile facility for a month until the D.A. and my lawyer realized that he had nothing to do with the incident. Than I was denied S.S.I. because of an error my doctor made on the forms he filled out. And 3 weeks ago my car was stolen right from in front of my house. So it seems like I can't get a break at all. I come to you today to ask for help for my mom's cat. I promised my mom I would take care of her if anything happened to her and when she passed away I wanted to keep my word. My mom's cat was diagnosed with gingivitis by my vet back in July,I paid for dental cleaning and antibiotics. A month later she started having issues again with her mouth/teeth so I took her to another vet to have a second opinion. The second opinion vet said they believe she has T.M.J. and sent me home with prednisone until I got her to a vet that specializes in dental. The vet that specializes in dental said that she would need to be sedated in order for them to determine what needs to be done,than if she needed any extractions or etc. it would be done at the time of sedation. The vet estimates it to be around $800. This is definitely not something I can afford right now with everything else going on. I can come up with maybe $100-$150. I am asking for help,please I am begging. My cat is very uncomfortable and If I don't come up with the money iI don't know what I am going to do. Any donation will help,I just need help right now.
